The Noble Chafer Beetle is one of my personal favourite chocolate animals that we make here at The Edible Museum.

From its detailed legs and antennae to its striking, metallic green body this piece is an enchanting chocolate art work to gift someone with a taste for the unusual.

It is all chocolate, the beetle and frame too, so plenty to share with your entomology friends. We hand paint all the details and it takes a lot of training before we get promoted to leg painters here in the workshop!

More about this vulnerable species:

As its habitat reduces, the Noble Chafer beetle is becoming increasingly rare and is classified as 'Vulnerable', which means it has a very high risk of extinction in the wild.

This beautiful beetle prefers traditional orchards that contain mature fruit trees of 50 to 80 years old. These sites are often cleared as the trees reach the end of their productive life.

We use Royal Mail Special Delivery which delivers by 1pm the next working day after dispatch.

This service is available Monday-Thursday if you order before 10am.

Orders placed before 10am Monday to Thursday will be dispatched that day with arrival the following day by 1pm.

Orders placed between Thursday 10am and Sunday will be dispatched Monday for delivery on Tuesday (although we will try to dash out to the Post Office before this if we can).

USA

Since Tariffs have been introduced we are shipping via Royal Mail-USPS tracked service to the USA.

It has proved to be the best service for a fully Duty Paid option and we do not want US customers having to pay Duties on arrival. 

Parcels typically take 5-10 days once dispatched and you will be sent tracking details.
Peak season Nov-Dec can be slower.

When the above service is not available we will ship vis DHL, FedEx or another reputable courier company.

Canada

We ship via courier to Canada and use UPS and FedEx (if they have any issues, we will use another reputable courier) Parcels typically take 3-5 days once dispatched and you will be sent tracking details.
