This is a beautiful, two layer wooden presentation box with insanely detailed chocolate fossil replicas nestling inside.

In the upper tray are sixteen prime examples of Trilobites, Ammonites, Brachiopods and Sharks teeth, in a mixture of Milk, Dark and White chocolate.

In the lower section, as you pull back the shredded paper you will find a Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth and a Megalodon Otodus tooth inside.

The box comes complete with notes on the edible fossils and can be personalised with your name as the paleontologist who discovered them.

Customer Reviews:

"This arrived in the post this morning, and I can’t get over how wonderful it is! The fossils are superb reproductions, fantastically presented and simply stunning. The packaging is simple and elegant, and makes the whole thing feel more like something out of a nineteenth century ‘cabinet of curiosities’ rather than a collection of chocolates. The only question is whether they should be eaten, or simply left as a gorgeous display item. The ultimate fossil lovers gift!" (M. Champion)

"My friend received these and responded “O!M!G! They’re gorgeous!” Thank you for providing a way for me to give my friend a spectacularly original gift."

I bought this for a fossil enthusiast and the recipient's reaction was very satisfactory! She loved the detail of the fossils and the presentation, and it immediately made it onto her twitter feed! The only problem is they look so great she is reluctant to eat them!

Very pleased when this arrived. It is lovely. Sarah and crew have done a nice job with the product. The package was a bit beat up coming from England to Western US but they had taped it in so it arrived safely. May want to consider a bit strong packaging But again, it did arrive just fine. Am very happy.

I’m not a paleontologist museum curator or chocolatier, but these miniature pieces of art sculpture (chocolates does not do them justice) are beyond amazing. You cannot fault the quality of product and VP presentation.
I bought them for a gift and must say the recipient was delighted. I was also delighted with the level of customer service. There was an issue with the ordering that may have resulted in the gift being late for the party. However Sarah sorted this out and saved the day.
In short, a unique and brilliant product with an exemplary customer service ethos. Small business at its finest.
Definately buy from Sarah and the edible museum again.

Watching a life-long palaeontologist squeal with delight upon opening this box of treasure was a memorable experience. Each fossil was examined and brought forth a sense of wonder. Reminiscences flowed of finding one 'just like this' when on holiday or visiting friends. The process of unwrapping this beautiful box of fossils took a long time and became quite an event. And then came the tasting of the most delicious chocolate imaginable. This box of fossils is one of those presents that gets remembered for a great many years, and is very special indeed.

This is an absolutely brilliant gift for the chocolate-loving fossil hunter in your life (or the fossil-loving chocolate hunter!) The chocolate is delicious, each piece is a miniature work of art, and the box is wonderful. The trilobite was my particular favourite; I could hardly bring myself to eat it, it was so beautiful. But I'm glad I did.
